Born in Vienna in 1683, the Croissant
became truly popular during "LA
BELLE ÉPOQUE" when the French Master-Bakers recreated
it in light puff pastry.
This led the way to "Viennoiserie", a middleground between
Bakery and Pastry.

Bagatelle morning goods are created every night, using only butter
and the finest flours as well as selected ingredients.
Most Bagatelle products have a REDUCED content of yeast.
Instead, we are emphasising quality and taste by using our own
natural leaven .

All our Morning goods are traditionally made and hand finished.
